Before we move on to the story, let’s get one thing clear – vegan and vegetarian is not the same thing.
Both vegans and vegetarians don’t eat meat.
However, vegetarians do eat dairy products and eggs, whereas vegans avoid all animal-related product, which includes eggs and dairy products.
They also avoid using any animal-based products, such as fur, leather, etc. Now, many people don’t understand those who choose to live their lives as vegans.
Personally, I respect people and the same goes for their diet – it’s their own choice, after all. But this girl to her choice a notch higher…
Kate Bullen is the girl who got a unique tattoo on her face
A.K.A Kate Allen from Preston showed her new face tattoo on her Twitter account by the caption, “Got a suicide awareness and vegan tattoo today, love ’em.”
The word seems to be quite highlighted right above her eyebrow
Alright, we see it! Obviously, it’s on her face. I dunno about the choice of placing the tattoo on her face but it seems quite cool. Come on!
I would never have the guts to do that. The girl is pretty confident about her choices and how people around her should be given a chance to know that she is a hardcore vegan.
With a knocker like that, of course, people would go crazy with their judgments
I kinda feel the same way
Kudos to her commitment but that’s not coming off.
Kate expected the burst, and she did handle the situation with a sarcastic tweet
With the caption:
So, I don’t have to tell people I’m vegan every five minutes. I chose to get this tattoo as I’m incredibly passionate about veganism and know I’ll be vegan for life.
But most people are practical
Some commented on how it would leave her unemployable. Kate replied by saying:
I’ve had a lot of comments saying I’m unemployable which doesn’t matter to me since I’ve been self-employed since I was 18 and it’s easy to cover with makeup and a fringe.
Yep, makeups are lifesavers! Face tattoos are quite concerning when it comes to corporate jobs, but I guess, the girl has everything sorted out.
She really did give a thought on this, didn’t she?
She also commented saying:
I primarily went vegan a few years ago because of empathy for the animals, and I’m still learning about how eating meat is so harmful to the planet and contributing towards world hunger and so many illnesses in humans.
Her tattoo artist also joins in to support
“I really respect her for fighting for what she believes in and being proud to show it off.”
